Background
Edward is a Fellowship-trained Hand and Peripheral nerve surgeon with a special interest in treating neuromuscular conditions such as post stroke spasticity and cerebral palsy. He offers treatment for peripheral nerve issues, including nerve transfer for brachial plexus injuries. Primary and revision surgery for nerve entrapment in the arm or leg (e.g. Carpal tunnel syndrome).
Edward was trained in Newcastle before being appointed as the Hand and Wrist TIG Fellow at Wrightington after being ranked first in national applications for the hand and wrist advanced training program. He then went on to do Fellowships in Thailand and New Zealand. In 2023
Edward was awarded the British Society for Surgery of the Hand traveling Fellowship and visited Singapore to further his interested in neuromuscular surgery.
